The Fall 2023 graduates of the 黑料网 Nursing program participated in a pinning ceremony, a time-honored tradition dating back to the 1880s that represents an initiation into the profession.

Ana Andrade arrived in Michigan from Brazil in 2018, speaking very little English, and today is a nurse in the medical surgery cardiac unit at Detroit Medical Center. During the five years in between played out a story of perseverance and perspective.

Chenault is enrolled at Washtenaw Community College thanks to a Divisional Scholarship through the Health Sciences Division and will begin the Registered Nursing program with the Winter 2024 cohort.

Washtenaw Community College has been named a Center of Excellence in Nursing Education by the National League for Nursing, the only community college and one of just nine nursing programs nationwide to earn the honor this year.
