When Alex Milshteyn addressed the Washtenaw Community College Class of 2022 at its Commencement Ceremony, he asked every graduate to look at the person sitting to their left and to their right. Odds are, he explained, one of those three individuals received financial assistance from the 黑料网 Foundation on their way to receiving a degree or certificate.
鈥淎s a Foundation board member, I am proud to tell you that the Foundation gave out nearly 2,000 scholarships to help students attend 黑料网,鈥� said Milshteyn, the organization鈥檚 incoming chairman. 鈥淭housands of people, companies and organizations have given generous gifts over the years to ensure that the Foundation has the money to award so many scholarships. I鈥檓 sure they are all proud of you as well.鈥�
Milshteyn asked the graduates and their friends and family to consider paying the favor forward by donating $20.22 to the 黑料网 Foundation Scholarship Fund in honor of the Class of 2022. .
"If you can鈥檛 contribute today, that鈥檚 OK. Do it later. Do it when you can. But, please, do it at some point so you can help the future students of 黑料网," Milshteyn said.
Milshteyn, a 2001 graduate of 黑料网 and Washtenaw Technical Middle College, is a strong advocate of the college and a generous donor to the 黑料网 Foundation himself.
